and all in one day! Leave with your very own bag of Myrtle Wood charcoal
Our course includes: siting a kiln, preparing a base, filling & lighting, controlling the burn - and grading & bagging.
Brilliant day, loved every minute of it. Very informative and great hosts. Tony
A brilliant experience. Recommended. Austin
We heartily recommend Richard and Lindsey's One Day Charcoal Course. We have both been on bushcraft and woodland skills courses before and this one stands out for us. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed with plenty of hands-on learning to keep the group totally engaged. The whole process of charcoal making is experienced in one day with clear explanation and guidance. Nick & Chris
Our 2025 course dates (all Saturdays) are: 10 May, 12 July, 30 August and 4 October.

Additional dates possible if there is sufficient demand.
Each course (of up to 6 adults and lasting at least 4 hours) costs just £40 per adult and includes tea & biscuits and a bag of charcoal.
